Pumpkin Fest 2026
PUMPKIN FEST
A celebration of squash, season, and community

Bring the family for an afternoon of pumpkin decorating, seasonal snacks, games, and storytelling.
As we celebrate the season, we remember squash’s longstanding place in Indigenous gardens, traditions, and everyday life. Gather with relatives and neighbors for a little creativity and fall fun.
Community Art Night - October 2026
Gather with us for Community Art Night on Thursday, October 22, from 6–8 p.m. at Culture Hub, hosted in collaboration with DREAM Action Oklahoma.
This month’s guest artist, Juliana Lopez, specializes in hand-embroidered felt art. She is creating a miniature panadería, with hopes of expanding it into a miniature mercadito—a world of small details brought to life through fiber and stitch.
Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community as we get to know Juliana and her creative practice.
Collective Wisdom Art Exhibit - Opening
This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we invite our relatives, friends, and neighbors to gather at Culture Hub for an evening of art, conversation, and community.
Join us Monday, October 12, as we welcome Collective Wisdom, a traveling exhibition featuring collaborative works by more than 30 First American artists, for the final stop of its journey.
Rooted in relationship, creative exchange, and shared knowledge, Collective Wisdom explores what becomes possible when Indigenous artists bring their individual practices, cultural experiences, and perspectives together to create something new.
We’ll celebrate the exhibition with an opening reception at 6 p.m., followed by an artist panel at 7 p.m., where participating artists will share more about the work, their creative processes, and the relationships behind their collaborations.

OKC Pride Parade

Meet at the intersection of Walker Ave. and Robert S. Kerr Ave.
All 2SLGBTQIA+ relatives and Indigenous allies are invited to join Matriarch, Cousins, and Culture Hub at the OKC Pride Parade as we celebrate and support our Indigiqueer community.
Please bring your tribal flag, sunscreen, water, and comfortable shoes.
Those who are able to help set up are encouraged to arrive by 10:00 AM.
Please note: Alcohol may be present at this event. We encourage participants to keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring or wear regalia.

Pride Bead & Tea
In celebration of Pride Month, Culture Hub, Matriarch, and Cousins invite community members to gather for a Pride Bead & Tea and parade prep night.
Supplies, instruction, snacks, and tea will be provided. Together, we’ll spend the evening beading, visiting, and making signs for the OKC Pride Parade.
This gathering centers our 2SLGBTQIA+ relatives, and Indigenous allies are also welcome to attend.
Matriarch Art Market
Join us for this year's Matriarch Art Market featuring Indigenous women, Two-Spirit, and non-binary artists and creatives.
Vendors will have everything from beadwork, to apparel, artwork, everything in between, and much more. Beat the heat and shop local while supporting a great cause.

3rd Annual - NDN Art Rally
The NDN Art Rally is an annual art fundraiser hosted by the Jacobson House - Native Art Center. This year, for their 3rd annual NDN Art Rally, the Jacobson House is partnering with the Culture Hub to support Native Art, Native Artists, and Native Culture & Community. This event will feature 49 artists creating LIVE art and each piece will sell for $49! All proceeds will support the non-profits - the Culture Hub and the Jacobson House Native Art Center.

Back to School Round Dance

Join us for an evening of song, dance, and community connection!
Oklahoma Round Dance is a powerful exercise of intertribal cultural expression of song and dance. For many singers and dancers, the round dance is a warm and safe intergenerational and traditional ceremony designed to provide the opportunity for creating and sustaining spiritual connections to older and newly composed round dance songs of the Southern Plains.
Round dance songs revive old memories and promises that Indigenous people in Oklahoma have to an intertribal gathering. Part of belonging to a local community is participating in community rituals and events, because round dances are traditionally viewed as exercising sovereignty in public spaces throughout Oklahoma.
All princesses and royalty are warmly invited to attend. Please bring your own chairs and come ready to dance, visit, and be in community.

OKC Divas Indian Taco Fundraiser
The OKC Divas are going to Branson, Missouri for Nationals!
They are fundraising for their trip with an Indian Taco Sale, and will be taking pre-orders for pick-up at Culture Hub on June 22, 2025 from 2-5 PM. Tacos are only $10, and come with a drink and dessert! Part of their proceeds will go towards Culture Hub’s mission.
